Just an additional comment to my previous review...

Forgot to mention, in the Morrisons Cafe in Cardiff , we were served lovely sourdough toast, the toast in colindale cafe wasn't sourdough, just normal toast...

Decided to try breakfast as its half price for a month & was impressed by the cooked breakfast we had when on a family break in Cardiff.

I ordered full vegetarian breakfast with extra mushrooms, basically an additional 75p for 2 mushrooms, ouch.

There was a bit of delay in receiving my order as there had been a mix up, but the lady kindly appologised & returned with my breakfast after a couple more minutes.

My order included, scrambelled egg, hash brown, avocado, vegan sausages, mushrooms & baked beans.

Being honest the breakfast we had in Cardiff would be a 5 / 5, the one i had today more of a 2.5 / 5.

Main problem was that most of the items on the plate were cold or rather luke warm, also i feel the scrambelled egg could be better.

But i guess for £3.50 one can't complain & service was good.

I would try it again but maybe ensure i get to the cafe upon opening to see if i can get a hot breakfast rather thsn luke warm.

Went there on a Tuesday for branch. Immediately noticed one particular staff had a 'cannot be bothered' attitude. Ordered the sourdough with poached eggs and avocado which looked great on the menu. The real dish was nothing of the kind. The poached eggs were made by a machine not properly done , the avocado was thin and meagre and to top it off, the sourdough was not actually sourdough. I queried this with that member of staff and without even looking she said it was white sourdough. I know what this is and Morrison does not sell any square white sourdough. It was clearly just bread. For the price paid, it was not worth it . So nil points for service and attitude and nil points for the food. Not impressed at all and not returning. There are smaller business with the right attitude and service which my money will go to in the future.

We came for a tea at 6:20 and the lady told us is closed because there are only two working today...really? If I go online, it tells me it's open till 7. This is disappointing...
