I was notified by email that a garment I was looking for was finally in stock at the Zara Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon. The email advised that I call to confirm that the garment was still in stock before starting my trip across London. I HAVE SPENT 4 HOURS OF MY LIFE listening to Zara’s busy signal on my phone. I called customer service. One woman was helpful. She said the manager was on the phone and that I should call customer service back in 10 minutes which I did. The man who took the call coulden’t care less. He was very unhelpful. He as much as called me a liar, settling for “the person who you spoke to before was wrong. We never call stores for customers.” He told me to just sit on the phone and keep redialling Croydon until I could speak to someone. Hours later and the line is STILL busy. I am very frustrated.
