What a difference! Returned to store and spoke to one of the managers. He was so very nice and understanding. Replaced the items I had to throw away and the bag. Normal service resumed. I will continue to shop here now I have been assured this morning was not their usual style of service.

I shopped with you this morning using my scan n go app. I queued as normal for the next available till. I spotted one free n moved to it. Then realised it wasn’t working when I saw the sign on it so went to the one behind. Which was free. Immediately one of your staff members, Liz, shouted over to me that someone was waiting in the queue, therefore before me. I explained I’d gone from the non working one to the present one but she wasn’t having it. I tried explaining again, and let the man behind me go ahead, she argued with me so much so two customers at a different till looked at me and rolled their eyes. It was so embarrassing. I waited back in line which had got quite busy, then let an NHS worker go ahead of me, which I always do. I scanned my shopping then was selected for a quality check. No one had the equipment needed after much searching and delay so I was taken by Liz to a till. Where my barcode wouldn’t scan. I said it was ironic she’d told me off for queue jumping which I hadn’t done and now I was very much delayed. I realise this bit was not her fault. She got very flustered and grumpy and said she’d put it through the till manually, and started packing my shopping very roughly. I asked her to stop packing and I took over. When I got home and unpacked the Sanex bath foam had had its top knocked off and half of its contents was over my shopping. I’m extremely cross with her bad manners, completely wrong accusation and then causing me to have to throw away some of my shopping. I use your store often. Always thank the staff for continuing to serve us through a pandemic and write excellent reviews on the scan n go app when asked. I will be maybe looking to shop elsewhere in the future. I would like to hear your comments.
