Without s shadow of doubt the worst pharmacy award goes to Airdrie branch 40-42 Graham Street, Airdrie North Lanarkshire ML6 6BU. I have now on numerous occasions had to complain to a manager/ pharmacist, could have been a shop girl pretending mind you, for the amount of success it's given. My prescription gets delivered there via doctor. I don't know what kind of shambles of a system they have in the pharmacy, and surely not just my own medication this is happening with, but they at least 4 times within about a year have handed over half a prescription when picking it up. Then at my own expense and absolute inconvenience I have to return and uplift what they've forgotten to pass on. Not because it's not in stock or not available, just sheer and utter negligence as to how the run their shop storage it seems if the can't pass entire contents of the prescription. I am sorry my own health predicts a larger than normal amount of medication. My apologies that I am not on 1 or 2 items to allow your inexperienced staff to cope with this but I've been dealt a poor health. Mind you, are folks like myself who are keeping Boots UK in employment. Stupidly on my part with a recent family bereavement I inadvertently forgot on this occasion to check contents when my husband picked up. So never discovered my important drug for my IBD was not in the bag AGAIN!! As boxes are larger they usually get packed in a separate bag. So it's missing AGAIN!! Only this time I haven't discovered Boots Uk's cock up on time so have none to take this morning or tonight or tomorrow morning before work - equates to 9 tablets. My husband is also unavailable to pick up before tomorrow. Must be a better idiot proof system with such large amounts of medication surely instead of silly separate bags that your pharmacists or shop staff can match up to one patient. Perhaps better training or a check up at your opticians is called for??? Shocking and something I've had to call Graham Street now about many times. CLEARLY not been addressed and surely more than myself have large volume of prescribed medication. More annoyed now when spoke to my husband, who's more than aware of their past cock ups, that (although he has no knowledge of my medication he was picking up) he did ask if that was definitely everything and was assured it was!! Angry doesn't justify my feelings just now !! Hence why I've now informed Boots UK. Rating should be nil stars but won't allow me to do !!!
