The fish and chips were very good but this week the fish was so thin it curled up and had a funny taste that lingered in the mouth for a long time after it definitely was not cod and the chips were colder than the fish

I used to love this place for eating as it was more like a restaurant than a cafe. Not sure what has happened but the food has dropped in quality and it could do with a good clean. The fish and chips used to be very good but now the fish is hardly cooked. I have tried it more than once so it is not a one off.
The whole place seems to smell of stale fat. I must say that the staff try their best and are very friendly.
