We've been enjoying Sainsburys raspberry donuts for ages but this wk there's hardly any jam in the pack of 5. Why is this?pls we wd liketo know whats happened and will they be az full of jam as before?thanks Maureen Kinnear
We use Sainsbury's at Apsley Mills for most of our shopping requirements. We have however noticed a drop in standards. There are currently always items missing from the shelves areas not filled. Dot Com are as helpful as they can be but I realise they are timed on their picking and so do not disrupt them if I can help it. The person who serves on the fish counter is very helpful and ensures we get the best service possible on a consistent basis, I should point out we shop on Saturday Mornings at 7.15 before it gets busy. We do our shop and get to the check outs that is where we have our greatest issues. This week we arrived at the checkout and there was one customer in front. The guy (Supervisor?) was chatting with him and slowing the process down (not really a problem in its self) but when our shopping was going through it was far too fast for both my wife and I to keep up. We were asked to pay before we had packed all our shopping then the lady closed her till and went for a break with the Supervisor. This is not the first time it has happened but appears to be happening more frequently with different staff on different tills. My wife is disabled and finds what used to be a friendly efficient store has lowered the bar on customer service standards. Rather than suffer the stress of shopping at this store we will look for an alternative if things don't improve.
