Met with a business colleague for several drinks and failed to realise we had stayed longer than our two free hours. Now got a parking fine!
No one in Starbucks advised us.
Never going again. Customer service...nil

As many before me have stated, the parking fine is a big problem. On arrival for a meeting my colleague asked about parking and we were asked to provide our registration plates and details which were recorded on a form. We were that was all we needed to do. No, I have received a ticket. I have had no luck with getting a response or support from Starbucks.
Very poor customer service indeed!

If I could score 0 stars I would

Very Upset!

Since the opening of Junction 29a Services Markham Vale our Business representatives have regularly had meeting with clients at Starbucks all most daily.

A regular meeting could be for an hour where clients and ourselves spend anything from £15 to £40 on other occasions we have occupied the large meeting table for several hours and if at lunch spend could be a lot more. For example last week 3 occasion small meetings we spent £47.00 not bad regular trade.

Here is the catch " PARKING EYE" Pirates that sell services to Landowners, Landowners who are greedy, not happy with their rental yield from McDonalds, Starbucks, Greggs etc who give go ahead for none regulated sharks like Parking Eye to prey on these retail Business clients while spending money at these Business's.

WE RECEIVED A £100 THREAT DEMAND FOR PARKING FOR 2hr 10 minutes. 10 Minutes over the 2 hour time limit parking eye have set on recorded video surveillance.

So first of who gave "Parking Eye" the right to govern how long a Starbucks customer will stay in their Cafe?

How do the land owners and Parking eye get away with renting space making revenue from rental then go towards ruining the trade of their own Business clients?

I am gob smacked.

So we took the nonsense Parking charge to Starbuck who claim they can get it lifted, they take it in the back to make a copy and come out and say " OK ALL SORTED THATS DONE YOU WILL HERE NO MORE"

This is not a process as there was no receipt or follow up advise to this complaint just a verbal word from a Coffee Barista it has been dealt with.

The letters keep coming, clients now tell me they have fines and I read online many are in the same boat.

This Starbucks venue is out of bounds for our team and clients now, this is a loss to that Franchise owner I would not be able to quantify the loss but I would say £100 to £300 a week.

We now await Starbuck customer service whom on 12 calls have not answered one call. We have now contacted senior management and legal however no joy there as yet.

Please be mindful if calling for meetings at this venue we have now estimates £700 of fines to visitors we know how many more are they out-there being abused like this?.

It a very expensive Blend of Coffee unless you opt for drive through.

Wont go again!

I went to this Starbucks for a coffee with a friend. I realised we had stayed over two hours, but gave my details and was told no problem. 10 months later, I am still being told it has not been sorted in spite of sending letters and visiting in person and requesting feedback. Very poor show!

Wont be going to starbucks again we got parking tickets for staying just over 2 hours as we didn't see the sign on entering. I would have thought the staff could have warned us about this or even have signs up in there as a warning. Very disappointed!!

Won't be going to this Starbucks again. You get a parking ticket if you stay too long. Starbucks didn't give me a receipt so I can't even appeal. Not happy!!!
