Went to the bank to ask for an appointment to sort out bank accounts and I was told no appointments were available till September due to shortage of staff and they would arrange an appointment for me at another branch on of which were local to where I live.
I was asked if I had online banking and informed that I could easily sort it out myself.
I went home and carried out all instructions in the banking app and changed to new accounts then found out I have changed joint accounts to single without the process telling me this would happen and I would need to attend the branch with my wife and proof of identity to correct this.
For 5 banking days I have tried to contact the bank averaging 10 calls a day and they have never picked up the phone. The decline in standards from this branch and it seems the bank itself is terrible and they seem to have forgotten that customers should be treated with courtesy and respect
