Visited the store this morning for a top up shop and to return a faulty jar of Geeta’s premium mango chutney. On getting a replacement jar which was slightly different in taste I was informed there was an extra £0.35p to pay. I told the assistant after paying that I didn’t agree this was correct after making the effort to return the product, basically I got the impression there was no interest in my complaint, and foremost no apologies. I don’t care about the extra payment amount neither the original price, I was just going to ditch the product and count my loss as couldn’t be bothered to return for the small amount. But decided otherwise as the manufacturer should be aware of a potential issue in filling jars.
I wish I had now this this has made me quite annoyed as this is not the Waitrose way of old for sure.
