Always check the ‘use by’ dates. I’ve often been caught out by stock about to go out of date. Today I bought sausages two days past their ‘use by’ date. Customer services were very apologetic but that is not the point. They should not have been on the shelf.
I personally think the cafe is too small as I struggle getting in when the cafe is moderately busy with my wheelchair, its terrible as not enough space to swing a cat, so therefore I think the cafe should be removed to make way for more food isles. With most moaning about how cold the cafe is, why not remove it and do us all a favour by making food isle bigger and better. The food is top notch, I love the variety of food on offer here and regularly shop for there posh sausages and steaks and other meats. Even the pizzas are better than most takeaway services in the area. But what I really enjoy is the wide selection of wines and Gin. To me what makes this a good store is the variety of foods and wine, the helpful staff and the way management run the store. I just wish M&S would of took on the old Toys RUs store as then they could of had a lovely food section and a beautiful cafe also.
I have used this store since it opened and have never had a bad experience in store. Traffic can be busy in the area as different parts of the retail parks converge. I have always found a parking space whatever time of day I have been to the store. For me the food quality is exceptional, you get what you pay for. I am a fan of M&S food and have never been disappointed.
